Professor Dr. Said Khalil, Dean of Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Majed Abou El Enein, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, received Christopher Murphy Director of Department of Education, Faculty of Education, University of Iowa, USA, prof. dr. Mark Wing American cultural attache and Mr. John Ragheb Coordinator of the American Cultural Office to discuss ways of cooperation between the College and the University of Iowa, especially in the field of accreditation of faculties of education globally.

Dr. Rasha Kamal Mohammed, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty, stressed on the importance of the role played by the international cooperation offices in the university in contributing to raising its international and regional classification and the activity of liaison offices and international cooperation in many international universities.

As Dr. Murphy presented a workshop on Global Classification, Performance of Educational Institutions and International Joint Programs, and presentation of the most important standards for measuring the ranking of universities internationally in international classifications such as Shanghai, QS and New Times

At the conclusion of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Said Khalil, Dean of the faculty presented shield of the faculty to the American Cultural Attaché. Mark Wing and Dr. Christopher Murphy, Director of Education Department, University of Iowa, USA.
